Lift out the drain stopper
Place a wet rag or sponge in the overflow to block off the air supply and create better suction
Place the plunger over the drain and plunge up and down quickly several times. Be careful not to apply too much pressure as it may damage your plumbing system
Run the tap to check water flow and repeat process if needed
Pour some boiling water down the plughole
Add 250ml of baking soda, followed by 500ml of hot water and let it sit for a few minutes
Add 250ml of vinegar and allow the two to react below the drain surface for around 10 minutes
