HOW TO TREAT A SMELLY DISHWASHER, WASHING MACHINE OR WASTE DISPOSAL UNIT

CLEANING YOUR DISHWASHER OR WASHING MACHINE

While low temperature washing cycles might save money and be better for the environment, they will not completely rid your washing machine of mould and bacteria.

Use Buster Eucalyptus Foaming Sanitiser Granules to give your dishwasher or washing machine a routine detox, removing smells, stains and limescale.

INSTRUCTIONS

– With machine empty, pour 2 capfuls into the soap dispenser

– Run the machine on short cycle

– Clean any filters and repeat. Use monthly for clean, inner freshness

Top tip!

If you live in a hard water area and your dishwasher has not been cleaned for a while we recommend that you use just one capful for the first application, followed by a second two-capful application. This is to prevent the removal of a large amount of limescale at once.

CLEANING YOUR WASTE DISPOSAL UNIT

While waste disposal units can be exceptionally useful devices, they do need a bit of routine care to prevent a build up of odour-causing bacteria.

Use Buster Eucalyptus Foaming Granules Plughole Sanitiser to remove food debris and grease, combat smells and remove stains and limescale.

INSTRUCTIONS

– Run the hot tap and run your waste disposal unit for 30 seconds

– Reduce the hot tap to a trickle and, with the unit still running, pour in 2 capfuls of the sanitiser granules

– Switch off tap and unit and leave for an hour

– Flush with hot water

Top tip!

When using your waste disposal unit always run plenty of cold water to flush food particles down the pipe. Too little and food particles may collect in the pipe and cause a blockage.

Safety notice

If your waste disposal becomes blocked, please do not use chemical treatments as they may damage the internal workings of the unit.  To unblock we recommend that you contact a plumber or the manufacturer.
